Preparing for a Lung Function Test
- Please do not wear tight clothing
- Avoid using puffers and inhalers according to the list of times below unless your doctor has requested otherwise
- Continue all other medications
- Avoid smoking
- Allow time before your appointment for parking, checking in with reception and for emptying your bladder if necessary, toilet facilities are available in ChestCare’s rooms
- If possible (without causing distressing breathlessness), avoid using the following medications prior to your appointment for lung function assessment within the period specified.
